Good day to you all!

I am very pleased to learn that, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, the 20th anniversary of the ITU’s proposal of the Internet of Things (IoT),and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC), the First Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy and the World Internet of Things Convention 2025 will be grandly held in Beijing. On this occasion, I would like to extend my warm congratulations on the success of this conference and my heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for their kind invitation.

At the beginning of this century, the International Telecommunication Union proposed the concept of the Internet of Things, providing important guidance for the creation, application, and standardization of IoT worldwide. Through the concerted efforts of all parties from industry, academia, research, application, and regulation, the narrowband IoT has achieved rapid growth, smoothly transitioning to the mobile broadband cellular IoT, and is now expanding toward the integrated terrestrial and satellite broadband IoT. The new generation of IoT technologies, together with artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge innovations, is driving global economic growth and bringing benefits to people around the world.

I have noticed that World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) has been focusing on the innovation and development of global intelligently interconnected digital economy. By releasing white papers and declarations, it has played a positive role in guiding digital economic transformation and promoting digital social innovation.

I hope that WIOTC will continue to make new contributions to enhancing innovation and development in the IoT and digital economy, strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, and exploring global standards for intelligently interconnected digital economy.

For over a decade, WIOTC colleagues have worked tirelessly and diligently, turning this platform into one of significant influence in both the industry and society. I hope they will continue to strive for excellence and reach new heights. I also hope that all of you will continue to participate in and support the WIOTC and the Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy, so that together, we can promote the development of global intelligently interconnected digital economy and contribute to the innovative economic and social advancement for humanity.
